Job Description:
ELS is looking for a highly self-motivated Field Technician to join our New York Controls Department. As a Field Technician you will be responsible for providing support to our distribution and contractor network in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Attend training courses for system certifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and documents.
- Commision lighting controls systems to meet design intent.
- Troubleshoot wiring deficiencies alongside electrical contractors.
- Provide detailed trip reports after site visits to ensure success of project
- Support customers via email, phone and/or in person in a positive professional manner
Qualifications:
- Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be detail oriented and technologically savvy
- Must be able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Must be able to embrace working independently and with others
- Proficient in Bluebeam Revu & Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, & Excel)
