POSITION TITLE: Security Camera Monitor

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Surveillance Monitoring Department Manager (Human Resources Division Manager in the absence of the Surveillance Monitoring Department Manager)
ACCOUNTABLE FOR: Live monitoring and real-time operational enforcement for all monitored sites
CLASSIFICATION: W8BEN; contractual 40 hours per week paid hourly
COMPENSATION RANGE: PHP 283.63 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications

SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Security Camera Monitor is responsible for overseeing live surveillance of all sites monitored by Enterprise Management Solutions. This role plays a critical part in reducing fraud, ensuring safety, and maintaining policy compliance across monitored properties.
This position includes proactive review of staff activity, clocking out employees who leave the facility during their scheduled shifts, identifying violations of law or company policy, and ensuring proper staffing coverage by initiating calls for replacement staff when absences occur. The monitor also ensures physical security by controlling door access at high-security facilities.
SCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor live security camera feeds across multiple facilities
- Issue disciplinary action as needed with the approval of the CHRO
- Identify and document unauthorized staff departures and clock out employees who leave while still punched in
- Monitor entrances/exits and provide door access for staff and approved visitors at high-security locations
- Observe for theft, physical altercations, medical emergencies, or behavioral incidents and escalate appropriately
- Watch designated areas including:
- Medication carts
- Cash drawers
- Food supply rooms
- Track scheduled shifts and initiate calls for replacement staff when on-duty personnel are absent or do not show up
- Record all incidents, observations, and enforcement actions in a daily security log
- Notify supervisors and administrators immediately of any suspected abuse, neglect, theft, or policy violation
- Review and store footage needed for internal investigations or external reporting
UNSCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist your supervisor with any work-related tasks as requested, taking initiative where possible
- Remain informed and compliant with regulations and standards, including COMAR, CARF, and other relevant governing bodies, as well as company policies and procedures
- Support the maintenance of a safe work environment by participating in drills and safety trainings as requested
- Maintain confidentiality of all records, especially those relating to client treatment or financial information
- Participate in external and internal audits/surveys (CARF/CSA/OHCQ) as directed by the supervisor
- Contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement plans by conducting audits and activities that ensure regulatory compliance
- Respond to after-hours alerts or calls to verify and investigate security-related issues
- Assist with onboarding new monitoring tools or upgrades to surveillance systems
- Participate in periodic drills or simulations of emergency response procedures
- Test access control systems, cameras, and communication lines to ensure reliability

LEVEL OF EDUCATION / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS:
- 13 AIHR certifications
- SHRM certification
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in surveillance, law enforcement, security, or residential care monitoring preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA, mandated reporting, and basic facility operations is a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check and confidentiality agreement
