Interviewing Family Medicine physicians to join a state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Coastal South Carolina dedicated to providing exceptional medical care to the community, with over 90 years of unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of the Myrtle Beach area. Deliver Emergency care services in a state-of-the-art 12-bed Free-Standing Emergency Department.
About the position :
- 12-hour shifts with four physicians / day and APPs covering 10-hour shifts.
- Two 12-hour physician shifts / day and APP coverage as volume requires.
- Rotations between the main ED and FSED are expected, though exclusive FSED coverage may be considered.
- Main ED : 42 beds with dedicated high-acuity, moderate, and less-acute zones.
- FSED 12 beds with full lab, X-ray, CT, and ultrasound capabilities.
- Technology : Cerner EMR with Dragon Dictation for efficient charting.
- Level III Trauma Center.
- Over 50,000 annual ER visits.
- Low Transfer Rate : ~2% – Admission Rate : ~25%.
