Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include : natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.
The Environmental Engineer / Scientist will be a team member within the Air Compliance and Emissions (ACE) team responsible for emissions compliance reporting for assigned midstream and petrochemical assets in multiple states. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Ability to accurately prepare emission calculations using established methods for reporting to government agencies.
- Prepare and submit timely emissions reports (Emission Inventories, GHG Reports, etc.) to government agencies and respond to agency follow-up questions, as needed.
- Implement existing procedures for data gathering to support high-quality emission calculations used for reporting and compliance evaluations.
- Continuously review and improve data collection processes to ensure high-quality data is being obtained for emission calculations and reporting.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Field Environmental, Environmental Permitting, Operations, and IT) to ensure required operating and emissions data is obtained to support calculations and reporting.
- Become proficient in Sphera's Essential software (ESS) in order to configure facilities in ESS for data gathering, emission inventory and GHG reporting.
- Deconstruct air permit special conditions and applicable regulations such as State rules, NSPS, and MACT into compliance tasks for use by internal stakeholders.
- Understand applicable rules and regulations such as State rules, NSPS and MACT, and ability to communicate strategies to demonstrate compliance.
- Track and trend emissions data on a routine basis (monthly, semiannually, annually, etc.).
- Share a common goal with internal stakeholders to support and ensure each assigned facility is "inspection ready".
