Enterprise Professional Services, Inc. (EPSI) is accepting applications for experienced
Grounds Maintenance employees with tree trimming experience to perform semi-skilled grounds and tree work under a certified Arborist throughout the Austin area.
This position has a starting pay of $18.00 per hour. Hours are typically between 7:00am and 3:30pm, five days per week.
Qualified candidates will have the ability to operate small chain and pole saws and commercial mowers and lawn care tools safely and effectively, as well as maintain this equipment in good operating condition. Employees must be reliable and be able to work well in a team environment. This is an excellent opportunity for those particularly interested in tree care and apprentice under an experienced Arborist.
A valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to pass a criminal and e-Verify background check are required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct basic tree trimming and lawn care tasks, including, but not limited, to mowing, lawn trimming, tree trimming, raking, leaf removal, hedging, and cleaning flower beds.
- Willingness to learn about tree care and the proper way to climb, trim, and remove trees.
- Upkeep of all hard surfaces including driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, patios and steps, including but not limited to sweeping, blowing, and edging.
- Litter and debris pickup.
- Proper and safe use of miscellaneous power equipment and company trailers and trucks.
- Work in a variety of weather conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years of related Grounds Maintenance/tree trimming experience.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
- Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely, with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional, harmonious working relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Valid driver’s license
