A very fast-growing, leading innovator in AI-driven solutions and conversational technology is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform DevSecOps Engineer to join their team. Role Overview
The GCP DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer will oversee and optimize the infrastructure and security operations. This role demands expertise in managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) cloud platforms and a deep understanding of performance optimization, cost management, compliance, and security practices. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with onshore and offshore teams to maintain, secure, and enhance the reliability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- DevOps and SecOps Management
Manage and optimize DevOps pipelines and security operations to ensure seamless and secure workflows.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across GCP assets, including databases.
Analyze resource utilization to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Stay ahead of penetration testing results and other security vulnerability assessments.
Conduct thorough RCAs for incidents and ensure timely resolution of action items.
Understand SOC2 and GDPR requirements and collaborate with compliance systems to maintain certifications.
Continuously monitor infrastructure and applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Provision and manage user permissions on GCP and other database platforms securely and efficiently.
Ensure timely application of patches and updates across all GCP resources to maintain security and compliance.
Coordinate and collaborate with offshore teams to ensure smooth operation and support of infrastructure and applications.
Monitor application performance, address support tickets, and provide reliable application support to stakeholders.
