Qualifications:
- Must have prior work experience as Armed Security Guard
- At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
- Must have an Active/Expired MD Guard Card (Armed)
- Must have a Firearm Carry Permit
- Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residency
- Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
Job Summary:
Enterprise Security Armed Security Officers will be responsible for the heightened security and control of the assigned areas and the enforcement of the Client's regulations. This position demands a higher level of alertness and capability to respond to threats with authorized force if necessary. Officers will work with some independence, adhering to established policies and procedures, with guidance provided through periodic instructions and meetings. The employee will perform security duties rigorously for the Client. Duties are executed across various shifts and locations, as required. Supervision is received from the Supervisory Commander assigned.
Key Responsibilities, but are not limited to:
- Ensure a safe and secure environment
- Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
- Assess threats and respond to hostile or irregular behavior with appropriate measures.
- Maintain physical stamina and vigilance to stand for extended periods.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include emergency response roles.
- Preserve order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises
- Respond quickly to critical situations
- Monitor and patrol premises on foot or as directed
- Direct clientele to the intended destination
- Assess and act upon threats or deviant behavior accordingly
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to communicate and work well with staff and team members
- Prepare incident logs and daily reports as required
- Other duties as assigned

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
