We are looking for a Construction Safety Manager to join our team of over 500 professionals across the southeast.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in strategies and initiatives to promote and maintain a positive safety culture.
- Inspect jobsites across the southeast to identify and correct deficiencies or potential hazards, and to ensure compliance to OSHA / DOT / Company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist management in the investigation of safety-related incidents and injuries to determine causes and contributing factors.
- Responsible for the effective and professional communication with General Contractors, Company management and field employees.
- Assist management with safety performance metrics to facilitate continuous, on-going improvement of the company’s safety results.
- Conduct or facilitate safety training and education programs to supervisory and field employees through formal training classes or safety meetings.
- Assist in the creation and updating of safety policies and training courses.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Safety Director.
