What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Women's Flag Football Coach (Part-Time) position at Enterprise State Community College?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Always represent NWSCC in a professional manner.
- Instruct flag football student-athletes on how to improve football skills.
- Develop the foundational framework for a competitive women’s flag football program, including recruitment plans, training programs, and game strategies.
- Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes to meet the initial roster goal, with long-term plans to grow the team.
- Organize and lead all practices, training sessions, and games in accordance with NWSCC policies and NJCAA regulations.
- Manage team logistics, including scheduling practices, securing facilities, registering for competitions, and handling transportation.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of all necessary equipment.
- Mentor and assist with providing academic support to student-athletes, ensuring they meet academic standards and eligibility requirements.
- Assist with monitoring the program’s budget and seek innovative funding opportunities.
- Promote and represent the women’s flag football program at NWSCC and community events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate Degree from an accredited institution, required.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution, preferred.
- Experience athletic coaching, preferred.
- Knowledge of flag football rules and regulations, preferred.

SALARY: Compensation is in accordance with Northwest Shoals Community College Local Salary Schedule ($10,000 with no benefits).
