Position Summary
Salary: $45,220.00 to $62,710.00 based on ACCS Board of Trustees Salary Schedule E2 03 and experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the Office of Admissions &Retention in its strategic direction and daily operations.
- Serve as a liaison in the absence of the Director of Admissions & Retention when collaborating with academic administrators, faculty, staff, IT, and other campus personnel to facilitate services, including academic credit, records, and student inquiries.
- Provide supervision that is accountable for the strategic direction and leadership of the Records area.
- Exceptional communication skills, including when collaborating with multiple college departments. Must be highly organized and be able to adapt to change quickly.
- Serve as an institutional expert on academic policies and principles for transfer credit and academic records.
- Supervise the evaluation of transfer credit, including evaluating and entering data on a computerized system, maintaining accurate reference materials, and communicating with instructional personnel as appropriate.
- Understand industry standards and Best Practices for reporting student records per FERPA guidelines and remain current on federal and institutional student record guidelines.
- Supervise / assist with updating and correcting student records; work with data processing staff in investigating and resolving various day-to-day problems related to computerized record systems.
- Assist students during the registration periods, including registering students.
- Establish and maintain record-keeping policies and associated procedures in keeping with established best practices, including issuing transcripts and diplomas and releasing official student data.
- Serve as admissions and records representative on committees as appointed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree required
