The Role
A Machine Learning Engineer at EDO is part of the Data Science team and focuses on production deployment / maintenance of internal data and modeling products. ML Engineers harden proof-of-concept and exploratory code into reliable components of EDO's production systems. The role requires planning and architecture skills along with solid engineering experience and intuition to build maintainable and extensible modeling pipelines.
What You Will Do
- Migrate components of our existing modeling frameworks from batch-oriented to continuous training and monitoring.
- Diagnose issues with legacy models and pipelines and decide what to maintain as-is, what to rebuild, and what to replace with alternatives.
- Expand our collection of internal modeling building blocks.
- Lead large, high-priority, cross-functional, strategic projects, driving multiple decisions that have significant impact.
