Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 9 laboratories servicing air, water, soil, and toxicology testing. Our environmental laboratory is seeking a QC focused, detail-oriented data reviewer to join our team. As a Data Reviewer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of scientific data, particularly related to environmental samples and chromatographic analyses. Duties include:

Our environmental laboratory is seeking a QC focused, detail-oriented data reviewer to join our team. As a Data Reviewer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of scientific data, particularly related to environmental samples and chromatographic analyses. Duties include:
- Review of analytical testing data, including chromatograms, collected from analysis of environmental samples (air, soil, water, etc.) using various methods and technologies.
- Verification of data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to acceptance criteria as prescribed by the reference method, QAPP, protocol and/or regulation.
- Identification of discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in the data when compared to prescribed acceptance criteria. Collaboration with the laboratory personnel for documentation and resolution these conditions.
- Facilitation of timely error correction by providing timely feedback to responsible parties when errors are identified.
- Compilation of complete, human readable, data reports in PDF. Generation of EDDs in requested formats.
- Verification of data integrity and compliance with the facility’s Quality Management System.
- Prompt attention to concerns related to data integrity and quality.
- Comply with laboratory quality assurance plan and other policies
- Other duties as assigned by responsible Group Leader or Manager
To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- BA / BS Degree in Chemistry or Natural Science (or equivalent training)
- 2 years’ experience in an analytical chemistry environment; Chemstation software experience is a plus
- Experience with chromatographic data and instrument data acquisition software (e.g., Sciex OS, Masslynx, Targetlynx).
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and guidelines relevant to testing laboratories.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks for efficiency.
