Our Mt Pleasant, MI facility is currently seeking a Part-Time Laboratory Technician Assistant to join our team.
As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

Our Mt Pleasant, MI facility is currently seeking a Part-Time Laboratory Technician Assistant to join our team.
As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
- Prepare thermal desorption tubes for Quality Control of instruments
- Thermal desorption tube preparation and conditioning
- Glassware Handling
- Preparation of standard solutions
- Managing temperature and weight logs
- Chemical Standard Inventory
- Data entry
- Facility housekeeping/maintenance
- Package shipping and receiving
- Comply with Enthalpy’s Quality Assurance Program and other policies
- Comply with Enthalpy’s Health and Safety Plan
- Other duties as assigned by the Group Leader or Lab Director
To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities.
- BS/BA in Chemistry/Biochemistry or pursuing degree in equivalent field of study.
- High School Diploma
- Basic laboratory techniques (knowledge of PPE, use of balance, pipetting, glassware handling, etc)
- Basic Excel skills required
- Must have ability to follow directions and work in a team setting
- Must be comfortable working with strong acids and solvents
- Excellent communication skills required
- Detail oriented
- Prior Laboratory experience (academic or professional)
- General lab practices and lab safety
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good organizational skills
- Time management
- Trustworthy
