What You'll Be Doing :
Operate and Monitor : Set up and run the Amada laser cutting machine to produce high-quality parts. Keep an eye on machine performance and adjust settings to maintain optimal production.
Quality Control : Inspect produced parts to ensure they meet precise specifications. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on the laser machine.
Troubleshoot and Resolve : Identify and fix any machine errors or issues quickly to minimize downtime.
Safety First : Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following safety protocols and adhering to OSHA regulations.
Documentation : Keep accurate records of production data and machine settings. Report any issues to the supervisor promptly.
Collaborate : Work closely with your team to ensure efficient workflows and timely order completion. Maintain clear communication with supervisors and management.
Continuous Improvement : Help drive productivity and quality by suggesting and implementing process improvements.
Schedule :
8-hour shifts on Monday through Friday from 3 : 30 PM to 11 : 30 PM.
Requirements
What We're Looking For :
Experience : At least 2-3 years of experience operating Amada laser cutting machines or similar CNC laser cutting equipment.
Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of machine setup, laser cutting technology, and routine maintenance procedures.
Problem-Solver : You're quick to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to keep production running smoothly.
Attention to Detail : High precision is essential to ensure quality in every part produced.
Great Communicator : Clear, concise communication is key when working with team members and reporting issues.
Physical Stamina : Ability to handle the physical demands of machine operation, including standing for long periods.
Forklift Experience : Must be able to operate a forklift.
