Responsibilities
- Safety - Oversees site safety by ensuring compliance with all regulations. Designs, implements, and enforces safety policies, as well as conducts risk assessments and training.
- Quality - Strong Lean and Six Sigma expertise with a proven track record of driving cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.
- Delivery - Customer-centric approach to process development, with a focus on monitoring and enhancing key metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, cost/productivity, and employee retention
- Cost - Manage daily warehouse operations to optimize efficiency and ensure timely fulfillment of customer delivery commitments.
- Team - Lead and inspire warehouse associates by cultivating a culture of respect and high performance. Develop a team of leaders across receiving, put-away, order pulling, and shipping providing regular performance reviews, constructive feedback, and targeted coaching.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or related field.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of warehouse associates.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a history of earning respect from team members.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- ERP implementation experience.
