Key responsibilities may include:
- Greeting visitors: Professionally greeting all guests upon arrival, providing information about the company or services as needed.
- Answering phone calls: Answering incoming calls promptly, directing calls to the appropriate staff member, taking messages when necessary.
- Appointment scheduling: Managing appointment calendars, scheduling meetings and confirming appointments with clients.
- Guest registration: Checking in visitors, collecting necessary information, and directing them to the appropriate location.
- Mail and package handling: Receiving and distributing mail and packages to staff members.
- Reception area maintenance: Keeping the front desk area clean and organized, ensuring supplies are stocked.
- Administrative tasks: Performing clerical duties such as filing documents, making copies, and data entry.
- Customer service: Addressing inquiries from visitors, resolving basic issues, and providing a positive customer experience.
- Communication: Effectively communicating with staff members, clients, and visitors both verbally and in writing.
