We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our ambitious growth to $15M in revenue in the next year. This key role focuses on outbound sales, building strategic relationships, and positioning Entire Productions as a trusted partner in key markets and industries.
The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter with a proven track record of achieving aggressive sales targets, an ability to think strategically about market positioning, and a knack for building long-term client relationships. While most activities will be centered on the West Coast, this role requires some national travel to attend industry events, meet clients, and build relationships in strategic geographies. You’ll collaborate with Account Management, Event Production, and Entertainment teams to drive success from the first client interaction through project execution.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OUTBOUND SALES
- Develop and execute innovative outbound sales strategies to penetrate target markets and geographies, generating at least $10M in new business opportunities.
- Conduct proactive outreach via calls, emails, social media, and in-person networking, targeting senior decision-makers in key industries.
- Represent Entire Productions at high-profile industry events and conferences, establishing connections that result in new business relationships.
LEAD GENERATION
Maintain a healthy pipeline with a consistent flow of high-quality, qualified leads aligned with company objectives.Leverage data-driven insights to identify high-potential prospects and optimize lead-generation strategies.Collaborate with the marketing team to design campaigns that enhance outreach and conversion rates.CLIENT ACQUISITION
Partner with Account Managers to close contracts worth $500K by understanding client needs and presenting tailored solutions.Ensure smooth client onboarding, focusing on aligning solutions with client objectives while maintaining a 95% satisfaction rate.Focus on high-value opportunities that contribute directly to quarterly revenue goals and long-term company growth.MARKET PRESENCE
Strategically position Entire Productions as the premier event production partner in targeted markets, focusing on relationships with Fortune 500 companies and venture-backed start-ups.Build brand visibility through strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and community engagement, with at least three impactful initiatives annually.Stay ahead of industry trends, adapting sales strategies to seize emerging opportunities.COLLABORATION
Work cross-functionally with the Director of Strategy, Event Production, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment of business development goals with company objectives.Provide actionable feedback to refine marketing materials and ensure sales efforts resonate with target audiences.Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the sales team to drive collective success.KEY MEASURABLES
Lead Generation :Generate at least 50 qualified leads within the first 90 days and maintain a pipeline of 200 active leads at any given time.Collaborate with marketing to drive a 25% increase in lead quality through targeted campaigns.Revenue Contribution :Achieve $2M in new client acquisitions within the first six months and directly contribute $5M in revenue by year-end.Maintain an average contract value (ACV) of $100K for new client deals.Outbound Sales Activity :Complete 50 outreach activities weekly (calls, emails, meetings) to ensure a consistent pipeline.Secure meetings with at least 20 decision-makers monthly across target industries.Collaboration and Handoffs :Achieve a 95% client onboarding satisfaction rate as measured by post-onboarding surveys.Provide actionable feedback to the marketing and event production teams quarterly to align on evolving client needs.Market Presence and Visibility :Represent Entire Productions at 10 industry events annually, resulting in at least five new high-value client relationships.Lead three strategic brand engagement initiatives annually, strengthening presence in key geographies and industries.REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in the events or experiential marketing industry.Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding aggressive revenue targets.Exceptional relationship-building skills, with an ability to engage and influence senior executives.Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), sales analytics, and pipeline management.A creative and strategic mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Willingness and ability to travel nationally, with most travel concentrated on the West Coast.DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
