The Senior Accountant is an important member of Entrata’s Accounting and Finance department. This position will primarily be responsible for managing accounts payable and vendor expenses, including month-end close processes and assisting accounting and finance executives in executing best-in-class practices.
A successful candidate must be able to show proven success in operational accounting, handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment, and show great attention to detail. People who find a lot of success are self-starters who can adapt well to changing responsibilities and workloads while maintaining positive relationships with executives and team members!

The Senior Accountant is an important member of Entrata’s Accounting and Finance department. Responsibilities will include:
- Manage accounts payable and vendor invoice processing using AP automation system and ERP
- Oversee company AP email account and provide timely internal and external communication
- Analyze the AP aging and coordinate regular payment runs to vendors
- Assist in month-end close procedures including preparing journal entries and researching and explaining variances
- Become a go-to resource for vendor expense questions, including preparing the monthly vendor accrual entries and accurately capturing prepaid expenses
- Help the Director of Procurement and the Controller to implement new procure-to-pay solutions
- Perform monthly account reconciliations
- Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies/procedures and systems
- Provide support on other finance and accounting projects as needed
- BS in Accounting
- 3 years of experience
- Solid foundation in US GAAP
- Organized in the way you document and support your work
- Highly driven and self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Skilled in Excel and accounting systems
- Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines
- CPA a plus
- NetSuite and Coupa experience a plus
- Public company or public accounting experience a plus
- SaaS industry experience a plus
