Job Summary:

We are seeking an Apprentice Technician to join our team. As an Apprentice Technician, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn and develop your skills in the industrial door and loading dock equipment industry. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are looking to grow their hands on and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities:

- Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing, repairing and installation.

- Learn to use hand tools, welding equipment and lift equipment.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions

Skills:

- Basic knowledge of hand tools, mechanical aptitude and welding. Electrical skills are a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot issues

- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers in a professional manner

- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication

- Ability to weld and perform stick welding.

- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and PLC controls is a plus.

- Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
