Join our team as a Placement Specialist, where you will support individuals in achieving their employment goals. Responsibilities include conducting intakes, developing Individual Program Plans (IPPs), providing job training and coaching, and maintaining program documentation. You will also develop relationships with employers, promote organizational services, and ensure compliance with agency policies and relevant regulations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess participants' needs and develop comprehensive IPPs.
- Provide job training, coaching, and support to enhance participants’ independence.
- Monitor progress, update IPPs, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with employers to create and modify job opportunities.
- Develop new employer relationships and business accounts to expand services.
- Advocate for participants and promote inclusion in the workplace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of sales or marketing experience; 1 year in human services is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with databases like Setworks.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Physical and Work Environment:
- Office setting with occasional travel.
- Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
