About the role
Job Posting : Placement Specialist
Join our team as a Placement Specialist , where you will support individuals in achieving their employment goals. Responsibilities include conducting intakes, developing Individual Program Plans (IPPs), providing job training and coaching, and maintaining program documentation.
You will also develop relationships with employers, promote organizational services, and ensure compliance with agency policies and relevant regulations.
What you"ll do
- Develop and implement Individual Program Plans (IPP) based on participant assessments.
- Provide job training, placement, and coaching to participants, ensuring their progress is documented and monitored.
- Build and maintain employer relationships to secure employment opportunities and develop business accounts.
- Advocate for participant rights and educate employers on best practices for support.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of sales or marketing experience; 1 year in human services is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with databases like Setworks.
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Work Environment
Regular weekday schedule, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM, with some flexibility.
