What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Administrator position at ENTRUST Solutions Group?
The Contract Administrator is responsible for the development, negotiation, drafting, and management of contracts for commercial customers as well as County, Municipal, and State groups. This role provides knowledge and guidance regarding policies, procedures, agreements, and terms & conditions. The Contract Administrator advises on contractual rights and obligations, including the associated economic and legal implications. This position may also involve presenting and explaining complex agreements, calculations, rate schedules, and applicable terms & conditions to customers. Additionally, the Contract Administrator may coordinate the sale of Company property to other Public Utilities or entities. The role requires close collaboration with the client's Planning, Billing, Rates, Design, Metering, and Legal departments as needed in all facets related to contracts. The Contract Administrator routinely responds to customer concerns and inquiries to explain policy, cost, design criteria, facilities charge options, and contract billing parameters. They determine the need for legal review and guidance on agreements and customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in office on average.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, negotiate, draft, and manage contracts for commercial customers and government entities.
- Provide expertise on policies, procedures, agreements, and terms & conditions.
- Advise on contractual rights and obligations, including economic and legal implications.
- Present and explain complex agreements, calculations, rate schedules, and terms & conditions to customers.
- Coordinate the sale of Company property to other Public Utilities or entities.
- Collaborate with Planning, Billing, Rates, Design, Metering, and Legal departments.
- Respond to customer concerns and inquiries regarding policy, cost, design criteria, facilities charge options, and contract billing parameters.
- Determine the need for legal review and guidance on agreements and customer concerns.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of contracts administration
- Tech-savvy; ability to learn multiple software tools, specifically MS Office tools
- Good communication skills and understanding of contract language
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience directly related to contract administration
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- Knowledge of electric services and/or public utilities

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 hourly. The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors, such as internal equity, professional skills, work experience, and pertinent education or training.
Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Additional offerings include tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
