What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Engineer II - Gas Public Improvement position at ENTRUST Solutions Group?
Join our Gas Programs team as a Design Engineer II! You'll work closely with senior engineers, gaining valuable technical guidance on underground utility design and roadway projects. What You'll Do:
- Support the preparation of designs, including calculations and drawings of gas distribution installations or gas utility relocations.
- Lead the development of design on simple projects and support complex projects.
- Learn CAD programs and software analysis tools utilized in engineering design.
- Understand and apply appropriate industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from accredited university or equivalent program.
- 1 years of natural gas engineering experience, preferably at an engineering consulting firm.
- Must have valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional project and client visits (up to 10%) in the Shreveport, LA area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or ArcGIS software is a plus.
