We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Substation P&C Relay Technical Settings Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary : The Substation P&C Relay Technical Settings Engineer will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing protection and control (P&C) relay settings for electrical substations. This role involves ensuring the reliability and safety of power systems through precise relay settings and coordination.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop Relay Settings : Design and implement protection and control relay settings for substation equipment.
Testing and Commissioning : Conduct testing and commissioning of relay settings to ensure proper functionality and compliance with industry standards.
Coordination Studies : Perform coordination studies to ensure optimal protection and coordination of substation equipment.
Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues related to relay settings and protection schemes.
Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of relay settings, test results, and coordination studies.
Compliance : Ensure all relay settings and protection schemes comply with relevant standards and regulations.
Collaboration : Work closely with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in substation protection and control engineering.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in relay setting software (e.g., SEL AcSELerator, GE Enervista) and familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC).
