Traffic Designer Drafter

The Transportation Planner will have experience generating traffic control plans. The Designer will develop traffic signal design, traffic analysis, signing and pavement marking designs from general instruction to a detailed finish product. The Designer should have a full understanding of file structure, specifications, industry and client standards related to assigned projects.

This is a Hybrid / primarily remote role that requires the ideal candidate to live within Fresno, Sacramento or the Bay area CA.

There will be light travel from different project sites.

Required Qualifications

• An Associates of Applied Science degree (AAS) in design and drafting technology or a related field
• 5-10 years of design experience including drafting traffic control plans
• Experience with California DOT and County design policies and procedures
• Working knowledge of QA / QC utilization methods

Benefits & Salary : This position pays between $64-110K annually depending on experience and is an exempt position.
