Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Escrow Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the escrow process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing exceptional service to clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of the real estate transaction process. We are looking to fill positions to serve closings in the greater Madison, WI area and Brookfield, WI area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the escrow process for real estate transactions, ensuring all documents are accurate and complete.
  • Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Review contracts and loan documents to ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and TILA.
  • Process loan origination documents and manage communication between loan officers and clients.
  • Maintain detailed records of transactions, including loan processing details and contract information.
  • Utilize 10 key typing skills for accurate data entry and documentation management.
  • Ensure adherence to FNMA guidelines throughout the escrow process.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Escrow Officer or in a similar role within the banking or mortgage servicing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of loan origination processes, contract management, and mortgage servicing.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and TILA requirements is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in using escrow software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
