What are the responsibilities and job description for the DMPK Intern position at Enveda?
Enveda is looking for a DMPK Intern to join our team remotely!
The contribution you will make:
You are someone passionate about contributing to the understanding of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics in the development of new therapeutics. You have a strong foundation in biological sciences or pharmaceutical sciences with basic knowledge or experience in using pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics modeling software.
As part of our Drug Development team, you will report to the VP, DMPK.
\n- Assist in the design and execution of DMPK studies under the guidance of senior staff.
- Perform analysis of pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and drug metabolism data.
- Learn and conduct PK/PD and physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) model development
- Support the development and validation of bioanalytical methods.
- Contribute to the preparation of study reports, presentations, and scientific publications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DMPK findings into broader drug development programs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific literature and advancements in the field of drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics and PK/PD, PBPK modeling
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program or a recent graduate of a Master’s program in pharmaceutical sciences or a related field.
- Basic understanding of DMPK and PK/PD concepts and principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and tools.
- Experience in using PK/PD and PBPK modeling software such as Winnonlin, Monolix, or GastroPlus is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
