Enveda is looking for a Senior Scientist to join our team in Boulder, CO.!
The contribution you will make:
We are looking for a Senior Scientist with a strong demonstrated track record of quantitative assay development, project management, high throughput screening, and drug discovery. You will support cell-based and biochemical assay development across various disease areas to support projects in our Drug Discovery efforts. In this role you will have an opportunity to work with interdisciplinary teams from across the company to develop and implement novel strategies for drug discovery.
As a member of the High Throughput Screening group, you will report to the Director leading high throughput screening and platform biology.
\n- Work with scientists and research associates to support, develop, and implement cellular and biochemical assays including commercial assay kits and complex, disease relevant assays
- Culture and expansion of primary and immortalized mammalian cell types
- Keeping organized, up to date and detailed records of laboratory experiments
- Developing, writing, and updating lab Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Processing, analysis, and interpretation of large high throughput datasets
- Interpret data and present scientific findings to key stakeholders
- Lead multiple high-value projects and manage diverse team interactions
- PhD with 3 years of relevant industry experience or Master's/Bachelor's degree with 6 years of industry experience in cell biology, molecular biology, automation, drug discovery, or biochemistry
- Experience developing and productionizing cell-based and biochemical assays, e.g. fluorescence imaging, reporter cell lines, ELISA, TR-FRET, or enzymatic assays
- Experience with 384 or 1536 well cell-based assay development
- Expertise with automation scheduling software (Cellario, Green Button Go, Momentum), automated plate washers, acoustic dispensers (Echo), inverted centrifuges (Bluewasher) or other automated lab systems
- Expertise in data analysis using Excel, Spotfire, Python, and Prism
- Experience with electronic laboratory notebooks (Benchling, CDD), electronic inventory systems, and large cloud database systems (AWS, Azure, etc)
- Expertise with collaborative development and implementation of custom software tools, and data analysis workflows
