What are the responsibilities and job description for the Envelope Machine Operator- 7PM - 7AM position at Envelope 1, Inc.?
The Machine Operator's role is to monitor high speed converting equipment to produce custom envelopes for large businesses.
Currently working two 12 hour shifts:
Monday - Thursday: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Willing to hire for 10 hour shifts as well.
IF A SUNDAY IS WORKED IT IS 8 HOURS
- Performs quality inspections by fanning handful of envelopes to inspect the quality of folding, sealing, and glue application.
- Packs finished product envelopes according to customers' specification into boxes.
- Assists with equipment setups and adjustments.
- Maintains clean and organized work area.
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
- Required to stand and walk frequently
- Required to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Require to frequently bend, reach, squat
- Must be able to work within environmental conditions, including hot and cold
Basic Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation based on experience. Drug and Background Screen required.
