The Sales Support Manager plays a critical role in enhancing the sales team's performance by providing essential support and resources. This position focuses on sales enablement, ensuring the sales representatives have the tools and information they need to close deals effectively. The Sales Support Manager is also responsible for preparing proposals and client agreements, as well as overseeing lead generation and the assignment process in on-going effort to increase overall sales productivity. This can include assisting in all sales and administrative activities essential for the growth of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee sales support cycle and team while supporting growing sales teams
- Develop and implement strategies to equip the sales team with effective tools, processes, resources and training
- Oversee and provide final approval of proposals using CRM smart quoting tool and Excel-based IRR calculator
- Oversee and provide approval of agreements for accuracy, including preparation of addenda and DocuSign administration
- Responsible for relationships with 3 rd party financing companies
- Management of insurance, licensing and preferred vendor requirements
- Prepare RFPs as needed for more in-depth proposals
- Prepare required client notices
- Support sales reps with customer meetings (preparation and / or attendance may be required)
- Communicate with potential clients on behalf of the sales team
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure sales materials and tolls are up-to-date and aligned with company offerings
- Guide sales people in entering accurate forecasts in our CRM tool
- Act as a liaison between the sales teams and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration
- Track and report on key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of sales support strategies
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports as needed for management team
- Assist in preparation and revision of training materials for Sales & Sales Support teams
- Collaborate with other teams on new sales and company-wide projects
- Help ensure proper record keeping in CRM tool, maintaining accurate data for sales team
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
