Envestnet is seeking a passionate and talented Manager, Learning Experience Design to join our eLearning Learning Experience Design team. This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required at either our Raleigh, NC or Berwyn, PA office locations.

Job Summary: 

Manage the eLearning Learning Experience Design team to develop and implement innovative and engaging learning strategies that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of learning experience designers and multimedia specialists.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that drives creativity and high-quality content development.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for team members.
      eLearning Content Development
    • Oversee the design and development of engaging, interactive, and impactful eLearning content aligned with organizational goals.
    • Ensure content is tailored for fintech SaaS audiences, incorporating industry best practices and compliance standards.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and Instructional Designers to translate complex fintech concepts into digestible and accessible learning modules.
  • Project Management
    • Manage multiple eLearning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for content creation.
    • Drive continuous improvement in processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Technology and Innovation
    • Leverage modern learning technologies and platforms, including LMS (e.g., Skilljar, Litmos, Cornerstone), authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate), and multimedia design tools.
    • Stay informed on the latest trends in eLearning, instructional design, and fintech to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with internal teams to identify learning needs and develop customized training solutions.
    • Present metrics and impact assessments of eLearning initiatives to leadership.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.  
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, communication, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
    • 5 years of experience in learning experience design or eLearning development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar).
    • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM/xAPI compliance.
    • Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia tools.
  • Industry Knowledge
    • Understanding of fintech or SaaS industries and their unique training requirements is highly desirable.
  • Leadership and Soft Skills
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and manage a creative team.
    • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Innovative Mindset
    • A passion for learning and staying ahead of trends in instructional design, adult learning theory, and technology integration.
