Job Summary :
The Sales Engineer Director is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in the organization’s technology infrastructure, and remove all technical objections in the sales cycle. To accomplish this, the Sales Engineer Director must leverage technical and / or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements, and provide business value. The Sales Engineer Director also effectively speaks to industry trends and translates that into product value demonstration.
Job Responsibilities :
- Provide tailored product demonstrations to clients and prospects that clearly articulate the value of the offering, including where and how an enterprise can use it
- Provide analysis of customer’s technical specifications, recommend the best product configuration and installation process, and estimate implementation effort, time, and resources
- Review sales proposals for accuracy, completeness, and quality
- Develop and deliver technical product presentations and materials to engage customers and prospects and educate sales team
- Assist institutional business development team’s requests for information reviews
- Serve as a subject matter expert and consultative partner to internal stakeholders, prospects, and customers, using influence to gain stakeholder support necessary to achieve expected results
- Stay current on industry trends, maintain a working demonstrable knowledge base on the various parts of the Envestnet wealth ecosystem
- Lead specific enterprise engagements or strategic projects
- Contribute to a product gap list that is driven by prospect and client feedback and industry trends
- Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
- As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
