Envestnet Financial Technologies, Inc. seeks Senior Strategic Consultant in Berwyn, PA.
Duties: Creates analytical tools, insights, and data products for investment and market research. Perform statistical analysis and build predictive models that synthesize large structured and unstructured datasets into competitive intelligence. Assist in developing new products as well as enhancing existing products and feeds using traditional and non-traditional forecasting methodologies. Partner with multiple teams including Business Development, Research, and Engineering to support ongoing product roadmap as well as identify new opportunities for growth. Provide support with respect to investigating any potential data issues or ad-hoc analysis. Evaluate and potentially integrate new data sets onto the Yodlee data platform. Ensure adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training and awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. Serve as a data steward and subject-matter expert for a dedicated set of data and business domains. Pull, organize, and analyze relevant data from multiple sources, using tools such as SQL. Assist new users and business partners with onboarding and troubleshooting. Work with sales and business clients to demo products and train them to use them. Capture business requirements for analytics and translate complex ones into functional and technical requirements. Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement end-to-end solutions.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Information Management, or a related field (or foreign equivalent) plus 5 years of experience in Software Engineer, Data Analyst, or related occupations. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Information Management, or a related field (or foreign equivalent) plus 2 years of experience in Software Engineer, Data Analyst, or related occupations. Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: (1) experience in a research or investment setting; (2) Experience with alternative data and its use cases; (3) Experience with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Visualization and Statistics; (4) Experience with the following tools/technologies: SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, Big Data, AWS S3, Athena, Python/R. Telecommuting Permitted.
