Job Description
Environmental Technician II will be responsible for managing inbound hazardous waste to the 10-day location, Stage, Verify, Secure & Load for transport all hazardous waste and complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Separate and pack hazardous materials for transport.
- Schedule and process ups and LTL shipments
- Operate PIT Equipment with a License.
- Perform & Maintain all assigned Training.
- Complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures.
- Pick and pack orders
- Perform Inventory Functions & Warehousing
- Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft office tools. ( Word, Excel & Outlook )
- Have the ability to read, write and speak in English
- Have a minimum of one-year related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Has the ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift and possesses safe driving record.
- Demonstrates knowledge of Hazardous Materials, EPA, DOT & OSHA Regulations
