Material Planner

Qualifications : A.    Education

• 2 yr AA Degree in Supply Chain / related field or 5 yrs of job related experience and required job related Certifications
• High School graduate with 8 yrs job related Experience with job

B.    Experience

• 5 years plus years of experience in Manufacturing Planning Scheduling Production Control and / or Supervisory experience in a MRP environment.

III.    Preferred Qualifications

A.    Education or Experience

• ERP experience BAAN a plus
• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or related certification(s)

B.    Interpersonal Skills

• Ability to read analyze and interpret data
• Ability to write in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
• Ability to interact with diverse groups of employees

C.    Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Microsoft or related experience

D.    Other Skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized fashion.

IV.  Essential Functions

• The ability to predictably and regularly attend work and to be punctual
• The ability to read and understand documents and drawings
• The ability to work cooperatively with others
• The ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and / or coworkers
• The ability to perform several tasks at once
• The ability to follow direction or instruction
• The ability to use a computer to communicate create and access information
• The ability to lift 40 lbs.
• The ability to stand / bend / stretch etc.
