What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time Receptionist position at ENVIRO SYSTEMS INC?
Hours: 20-25 hrs per week, 8am to 1pm
Summary: Responsible to act in accordance with the policies set forth in the current procedures and manuals. Provide assistance to the Human Resource department
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; others may be assigned:
- Regular and dependable attendance, punctuality and presence
- Operate telephone to answer, screen and forward calls providing general information or taking messages
- Page individuals to inform them of telephone calls using paging system
- Log calls with person calling, who the call was for and company name
- Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit then direct or assist as necessary
- Maintain visitor log according to work instructions, assign the proper badges for identification of visitors
- Transmit information or documents to customers both internally and externally using computer, printer, scanner or fax
- Perform administrative support tasks, such as filing and maintaining records both electronically and paper
- Collect, sort, distribute mail
- Maintain front lobby area, for cleanliness and order
- Read and answer email on a continuous basis.
- Beginner use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Order lunch for internal meetings
- Wearing the proper safety equipment.
- Other duties as assigned
