Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; others may be assigned:
- Improve work methods and tooling
- Report any safety problems to management
- Follow all environmental, health and safety policies
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Manage ones own time efficiently
- Evaluate self work to ensure compliance with work instructions and standards
- Responsible for planning, scheduling and releasing work orders for PSP department
- Assist Contract Administrators with work order issue and modify work orders after evaluation
- Determine if delivery dates can be met based on part stock
- Place purchase orders for PSP department
- Fill out purchase requisitions
- Making tags for PSP department
- Coordinate with outside vendors for part/component repairs
- Check stock and place inter branch transfers
- Compile, copy, sort and file records of office activities, add new materials to file records, and create new records as necessary
- Operate office machines, such as scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, personal computers and machines used for tags
- Maintain and update filing and databases, either manually and/or electronically.
- Sort or classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria or chronological, alphabetical or numerical order.
- Read and answer email on a continuous basis
- Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Intermediate use Visual MRP system
- Wearing the proper safety equipment
- Other duties as assigned
