Job Summary : The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials, components, and services necessary for our manufacturing processes at two manufacturing sites. This role is crucial in ensuring that we meet production schedules while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have experience in the aerospace sector, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers and internal business partners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Manage the procurement process from supplier selection to contract negotiation and purchase order management.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
