Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our operations and contributing to the overall appearance of our landscape projects.

Job Duties:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of office spaces, restrooms, break areas, and common areas.
• Maintain outdoor spaces by picking up litter, managing waste disposal, and ensuring pathways/ parking lots are clear and safe.
• Assist with the organization and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to management promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with special projects or events as needed, including setup and breakdown.
• Collaborate with team members to promote a positive work environment.
• Wash the interior and exterior of the company vehicles, trailers and all equipment.

Requirements

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must be at least 18 year old.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Capability to work in all weather conditions and environments.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Prolonged standing, bending, or exposure to cleaning chemicals (protective equipment provided).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
