Senior Wastewater Treatment Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wastewater Treatment Operations Manager to join our team at Envirogen Group UK Limited.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of pumping and process equipment and systems used to treat industrial wastewater.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating and maintaining pumping and process equipment and systems
• Coordinating with Management and Engineering to execute procedures and directions
• Comprehending and following safety procedures
• Identifying and reporting problems and abnormalities in the receiving waste stream and treatment process
• Performing laboratory analyses in accordance with site-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Evaluating and operating equipment, meters, and gauges
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance to pumps, pipelines, valves, and simple process equipment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email programs
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic and algebra commonly used in wastewater treatment industry
• Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift 50 pounds regularly
• Must provide own transportation to and from the work-site
• Must be flexible to work 8-12-hour shifts, including daytime and graveyard shift rotation

Requirements include:

• At least 3 years working experience in plant operations
• Possesses at least a Grade 1 Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment Operator's license from the designated state within 2 years of employment date
