Day Porter/Janitor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness. Ensuring a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, floor care, and general facilities maintenance.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, dusting and mopping
• Conduct custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, cleaning restrooms, and restocking supplies.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks in designated areas as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, and entryways to ensure a pleasant atmosphere.
• Monitor the condition of facilities and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to management.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the facility.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while performing multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
