What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Manager position at Environment Control of Jacksonville?
We are now hiring part-time evening Manager for the St. Augustine Area.
You will manage a team of cleaners for between9-15 client properties. This position is part-time and based in the evenings typically 5:30/6 pm to 10:30/11:00 pm, A typical week will be Monday through Friday with some Saturdays and Sundays required (depending on clients in your area. You will train and manage your staff in all aspects of commercial cleaning in their assigned accounts. You will conduct quality inspections on all of your assigned buildings weekly and monthly, provide feedback/retraining, resolve issues, deliver supplies to cleaners, clean accounts when needed, provide supervisory guidance and back up to other managers as needed. You will use UKG Timekeeping technology to track employee timekeeping, no shows, cleaning times, etc.
Summary of Duties/Responsibilities:
Consistent and prompt attendance
Manages operational tasks under the direction of area management
Track and manger employee time-keeping and report excessive cleaning times
Coordinate quality of service surveys through Orange QC
Coordinate with special services team for deep cleans of facilities
Audit in house chemicals and supplies
Conduct training and quality inspections for your team
Coordinate with team lead floaters for coverage
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
Aid in retention and limit churn of employees.

EXPERIENCE
5 year of professional cleaning experience required
2 Years of Supervisory experience is required
Summary of Qualifications
Must have at least 5 years previous commercial, medical, or hotel industry janitorial experience.
Must have at least 2 years previous supervisory experience.
Must be available to work nights including some weekends,
Must be able to meet the essential physical demands of the position including the ability to stand at least 2-3 hours at a time, be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Will frequently walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, lift and carry.
Must live, work, or commute within area so that you can respond withing 10-15 min to lockouts/alarms/call outs
Must have reliable transportation to travel to client site(s), vehicle insurance, a current valid Florida drivers’ license, and a clean criminal background history.
Must be willing to travel to multiple sites within assigned territory.
Must be willing to cover/clean your accounts when staff are absent.
Must possess basic phone/office technology skills and experience to operate UKG timekeeping systems and SMART phone as well as QC App.
Must be able to speak, write and understand English fluently - Bilingual a plus.
