Floor Care Technician

Position Overview:

As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality floor care services in various commercial settings such as offices, schools, medical facilities, and more. Proficiency in carpet cleaning, floor care, custodial duties, and environmental services is essential for this role. Applicants must be flexible in scheduling. Working hours are primarily evenings and nights.

Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough cleaning tasks including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom sanitation
-Attend to special services including but not limited to carpet cleaning, ceramic tile cleaning, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
- Adhere to assigned cleaning routes promptly and efficiently
- Document routine cleaning activities for record-keeping purposes
- Execute heavy-duty cleaning assignments and special projects as required
- Report any maintenance issues or deficiencies to management promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply rooms with provided materials
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations
- Uphold confidentiality standards and comply with health and safety regulations

Experience:

- Desire to transition from part-time to full-time employment
- Proficient in English language (reading and writing)
- Possess reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License with insurance if driving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of meeting physical demands of the job including lifting up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent experience/training
