Responsibilities:
Aluminum Welding - Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
Fabrication - Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure accurate assembly and welding of aluminum parts for environmental control systems.
Quality Assurance - Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
Safety Compliance - Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment. Report any safety concerns or issues promptly.
Equipment Maintenance - Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Collaboration - Work closely with other team members, including engineers and fabricators, to achieve project goals and timelines.
Problem Solving - Identify and address any issues related to welding processes, materials, or equipment, proposing solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
Welding Expertise - Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding, with a focus on aluminum materials. Certification in welding is highly desirable.
Blueprint Reading - Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Precision and Detail-Oriented - Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality welds with attention to detail and precision.
Team Player - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Job Requirements/Special Skills:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to step over and work on top of fixtures that are 28 inches off the floor when necessary
Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
