Environmental and Energy Solutions, Inc. (EES) (A NuEnergen Company) is a full-service environmental consulting firm specializing in air, waste (hazardous, medical, solid, liquid), water, and regulatory compliance management. We are looking to hire an initiative-taking Vice President with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Senior Environmental Engineer/Project Manager. You will coordinate with other engineers and Project Managers to ensure all aspects of each project are completed as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Master’s Degree in Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Eligible for NYS PE
- Knowledge of Federal, State, Air/Waste Regulations, Title V Permitting and related compliance assessment and emissions reporting, specific NYSDEC regulations
- Knowledge of design operation aspects of stationery combustion sources (boilers, generators, fuel storage tanks, gas pipes, Cogen, chillers, cooling towers, etc.
- Familiarity with RCRA, CERCLA and waste management regulations including CWA
- Knowledge of NYCDOB, FDNY, ECB regulations
- Knowledge of Façade and Local Laws
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead project teams delivering services for environmental engineering projects that involve air, waste and water management as well as medical waste management, provide clients with building compliance codes, fire protection and violation mitigation.
- Guide engineering and capital improvement projects providing specification / bid review assistance, compliance review.
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
- Solicit bids and prepare clients for compliance, including coordinating with related parties, ensuring facility follows stack test protocols, and notifying agencies of stack test results
- Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience.
- Assist clients in navigating all permitting processes for generator enrollment in coordinated demand response and peak shaving programs
- Prepare engineering feasibility studies
- Prepare/Review annual Tier II chemical inventory reports
- Prepare/Review annual Local Law 84 Energy Benchmarking Reports
- Coordinate with manufactures, contractors, design engineers, and agencies for design, installation, and supervising the construction
- Communicate with clients to take detailed project specs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Attend periodic project meetings
- As needed technical support and project management
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
