The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance, conducting site inspections, and implementing safety protocols to mitigate risks in concrete construction environments. This role requires extensive knowledge of concrete form work, reinforcing steel, curing processes, and heavy equipment safety.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures related to concrete pouring and finishing.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide safety training to all employees and ensure that all safety training is up-to-date.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that safety is a top priority on all construction projects.
- Maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents and activities.
- OSHA 510, CHST Preferred or additional experience.
- Must have prior experience with pouring concrete in a construction environment.
- Local to the project preferred, there is per diem available if not local.
- 3 to 7 years of construction field safety experience.
- Ability to start this project ASAP.
- Must have excellent writing and computer skills.
- Great communication - written & verbal.

Salary : $35 - $38
