Field Assistant

Field Assistant
This position will perform the function of the second person on a field crew and is limited to aboveground work until fully trained. Employees will be trained to perform fieldwork with all product lines. The employee will be responsible for operating and maintaining all issued equipment and vehicles associated with the work described.
Education/Experience Requirements
- H.S. Education, valid driver’s license, MVR/background check, and negative drug screen.
- Must complete First/Aid/CPR course and full safety certification (company will provide).
Fieldwork includes but is not limited to:
- Installation of electronic instruments within sewer lines.
- Collection of data and review for accuracy using field logs, iPads, and Laptops.
- Troubleshooting activity and making repairs.
- Inspect manholes manually.
- Traffic Safety and Confined Space Safety.
- Maintain accurate, legible organized records in accordance with all Operations Quality Work Instructions.
- Maintain vehicle and equipment to ensure safety, mechanical soundness, and productive operation.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and policies/procedures.
- Team player.
- Manual dexterity.
- Mechanical inclined.
- Basic computer experience.
- Basic knowledge of electronics.
- Working outdoors 100% of the time.
- Must be aware of surroundings with hazardous conditions.
- Physical ability to lift weight (50 Lbs).
- Valid Drivers License.
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
- Work Location: In person.
- High school education.
- Certificate of acceptable MVR.
- Drug screen and Background check.
- Must be comfortable in confined spaces.
- Good mechanical skills, basic computer skills, manual dexterity, and willingness to work outdoors.
- Physical and cognitive ability necessary to do confined space entry and perform required operations.
- Basic knowledge of electronics.
- Must be able to function in a team environment and be capable of achieving daily productivity targets.
