We are seeking a skilled General Laborer to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Diesel Operator and/or Fleet Mechanic.
Diesel Operator:
Guardian Staffing Solutions, LLC is currently hiring qualified Diesel Operators to operate/drive the company's fleet of vacuum trucks, street sweepers, water blasters, sewer camera trucks, and pickup trucks or, other equipment as directed by management. All vehicles have 8, 9, or 10 variable-speed manual shifters. Successful candidates MUST be capable of operating a manual shift diesel truck and will be required to demonstrate this ability during a road test as part of the pre-employment interview process. CDL Fleet Mechanic:
Display an understanding of Diesel Mechanics, Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Diesel Engines and Systems and the capacity to perform repairs on them,
- Utilize necessary tools and supplies.
- Perform service calls to off-site locations to perform repairs.
- Communicate with management or customer to assure project goals are met.
- Must be available for weekend shift work
Responsibilities:
- Operate diesel equipment and machinery
- Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Perform general labor duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience as a Diesel Operator and Fleet Mechanic
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
