The Environmental Company is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. This role involves coordinating the transportation of equipment and/or goods, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate and schedule transportation of equipment and/or goods, prioritizing efficiency and safety
- Track shipments and maintain accurate records of transportation activities, utilizing logistics software and tools
- Collaborate with customers and project managers to ensure seamless delivery of equipment and/or goods
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards, including DOT regulations and reporting
- Manage trip and fuel permits for a fleet of 10 trucks, optimizing routes and reducing costs
- Create invoices and collect payments from customers, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
