(ECC) invites you to embark on an exciting career journey as a Class A or B Commercial Driver and Environmental / Industrial Technician working on Tinker AFB in Midwest City, OK. Our Technician Drivers are the heart of ECC’s operations, combining skilled commercial driving with a passion for maintaining industrial systems and protecting the environment. This position offers a balance of driving and hands-on service, with local driving accounting for about 10% of your time. Key Responsibilities May Included :
- Safety First : Follow ECC’s safety program requirements as the top priority, always maintaining a safety-conscious mindset while performing duties.
- Vehicle & Equipment Operation : Operate vacuum trucks, tankers, and other light and heavy-duty equipment and vehicles to perform essential industrial services.
- Industrial Cleaning & Maintenance : Pump and clean industrial systems and tanks, including confined space entry when required.
- Spill Response & Emergency Support : Participate in on-call spill response during and outside of standard work hours, including weekends and emergency situations.
- Waste Management & Transport : Safely load, transport, and offload industrial waste, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations.
- Base & Regional Operations : Perform waste transport services on and off Tinker AFB, with occasional out-of-region trips as needed.
- PPE & Respirator Use : Wear respirators and other personal protective equipment (PPE) as applicable for hazardous environments.
- Vehicle & Equipment Inspections : Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with DOT and company safety requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance : Adhere to OSHA, DOT, EPA, and ECC policies regarding safe operations, hazardous waste handling, and drug-free workplace policies.
- Adaptability & Independence : Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating the ability to adapt to changing priorities and job requirements.
